Id like to thank the Academy… Okay, so I wasnt exactly a Meryl Streep accepting an Academy Award this weekend but I sure felt like her. Thanks to all of my friends who came out to support me at the Pembroke Pines Art Festival. And Thanks to all the workers and volunteers there as well. Also, thanks to the many well-wishers who were unable to attend the festival in person. It was a wonderful experience sharing my work with so many people! A HUGE I-Owe-You-One! Thanks to my best friend Lisa Edmonson Tully who drove all the way from Sarasota to help me at the festival despite the fact that she had to be back at work in Sarasota bright and early Monday morning! A Special Thanks to Robyn Vegas and Rose-Marie Colombo- two ladies who really know how to get things done! And who answered what probably seemed like a never-ending amount of questions via e-mail. Thanks to my mom Emily Grunwald who helped to bag, tag, organize and inventory a massive number of homemade greeting cards. And last but not least I would like to thank my sister, Elizabeth Coplan who couldnt be with me this weekend but who is always cheering me on. Uh-oh! They are playing that Lady, PLEASE SHUT UP! music so I had better stop. Sincerest of thanks to everyone who made this weekend special!
