Id like to think I demonstrate relatively good NYC umbrella etiquette - I close my umbrella when walking under structures that shelter the rain in order to avoid collisions, I tilt my umbrella to the opposite side in narrow spaces when another umbrella is coming my way, and last, but certainly not least, I do not jab others who do not have umbrellas in the face. However, there is nothing more amusing to me than the grimacing and disgusted looks on peoples faces when another does not follow these simple steps
