Id love to say I dug these little treasures up in my back garden, - TopicsExpress

Id love to say I dug these little treasures up in my back garden, but I have to admit I sourced them from more accessible places! Richard Taylor from the Wheatsheaf , ran a brewery and off license as well as the Hotel , born in Astley to a farmer, hed moved from Walton on the Hill prior to 1891 with his Lathom born wife and young family. Richards father had owned Ashurst Hall at Dalton and that is how Richard will have met his Lathom born wife Elizabeth Pilkington, daughter of Lathom farmer John Pilkington, Websters Farm. Many thanks to our Bottle Guru David Pye for his expert guidance!
