Id never heard of Charlie Hebdo before today. And while I offer condolences to the families of the dead, I cannot condone their bigotry. Im sorry but knowing how hair-trigger radical terrorists are? These satirists all but BEGGED for this to happen with their flagrantly racist, islamophobic/homophobic cartoons. This isnt simple Freedom of Press. Their cartoons were intentionally bigoted and antagonistic. They were deliberately goading the kind of rage that got them shot. My heart goes out to the families grieving their lost loved ones. But I will not memorialize them, as so many are, by glossing over the fact that they were shamelessly bigoted jackasses and they intentionally invited this.
