Id really hoped to get my hands on a HD version of this, but no luck getting anything beyond cell phone quality (sad to walk out of a competition without anything to show for it--which happens all-too-often--so Im happy to have this, at least). Heres my cursed performance from Pole Stars Championships. For those of you who dont know why it was cursed, heres the summary: 2 months before, I had an injury where the pole crushed my hand. I couldnt pole for about a month. 1 month, right when I was starting to train again, I got food poisoning. 2 weeks later, I got it again. So, I got to the competition not having rehearsed the performance once. The good news was that my expectations were very low at that point. But the day of the performance, I got hit by a van and went over a taxis hood. During dress rehearsal, an hour before the competition, there was a slip/malfunction and I slammed my face into the pole. Blood, big bruise above my eye, and severe headache resulted. I was almost sure Id have to pull out. I did perform, and am far more pleased with the results than expected, with only one major slip up. So anyway, heres Doctor Ken, Pole Ninjas Cursed Performance at the Pole Stars Championship 2014. Besides my personal issues, btw, the competition was very well run and a blast!
