Ideal Protein Dieter of the Month My name is Ginger and I am - TopicsExpress

Ideal Protein Dieter of the Month My name is Ginger and I am 36 years old. I have been on Ideal Protein since June 24, 2013. I have struggled with my weight all my life. I am what you call a roller coaster dieter. My weight got really out of hand the last few years. I had a bad foot injury and was unable to exercise which lead to going to food instead of exercise when I felt stressed out or just bored. I finally hit my fat wall last June and needed to do something fast. I had a couple friends who were doing Ideal Protein and it was working for them. The best part I noticed was they were seeing results the first week and that is what I needed! I called the office and met with a coach on June 24th 2013. I feel that is when my life changed for the better!! The scariest part was stepping on the big ugly scale and when I did I was horrified when I saw the number 187 lbs. I have never weighed that much, but it was also very motivating for me. I was determined to hit my goal of 160 before our vacation in September. My first week I lost 6 lbs and a lot of inches and then every week after it was between 2-5 lbs a week. I found my favorite drinks, snacks and creative ways to get in my veggies!! I was starting to feel so good, people were starting to notice and my clothes were getting loose on me, which gave me more motivation. My last weigh in before vacation was 164 lbs. Although I wasn’t quite to my goal I went and enjoyed myself. When I came home I weighed 168 lbs, not too bad, but had cheated with my food and had the tastes of all the bad food that made me overweight to begin with. I decided to take a break from Ideal Protein for 7 months. However, I did end up hitting the fat wall again and remembered how I had felt last summer at 164 lbs and I wanted that feeling again. I called the office again on March 10th 2014 I got back on Ideal Protein. I was determined to get through all 4 phases and get to my goal of 160lbs. I stepped on the big ugly scale and I weighed 181 lbs!! I left the office with so much determination. The first week I lost 10 lbs it was the best feeling ever!!! Now 3 months later I have reached my goal of 160 lbs and down from a size 16 to a size 10!!! I feel the best I have ever felt and because I have finished all the phases I really feel like I can maintain this healthy weight. I will NEVER hit that fat wall again! I want to thank all the staff at Hilltop Family Chiropractic. They were so supportive even when I fell off the Ideal Protein wagon for a little bit. When I walked in the door for the do over they welcomed me with open arms!!!
