Ideally, our tertiary educational institutions should operate three trimesters per session with January to March as first trimester, May to July as second trimester and September to November as the third trimester. In this way, April, August and December will be holidays. In this way we can understand when schools will resume or close for the session unlike now that everything is in disharmony with some schools resuming and others are closing. We need to unify the academic calendar for harmony and progress
