Ideas required Forestry Commission has approached us as per this email am not sure whether you are aware but the community have been donated a wildlife hide which is in situ at the FC Fishnish Car Park near the Fishnish Ferry. The hide was donated by LaingoRouke and Scottish water and is going to be opened formally on the 19th of October from 12-3pm. The plan is to have a barbecue with support from the Isle of Mull Hotel and several tents and activities from the environmental organisations that have links with the marine environment on the island such as RSPB, Ranger Service, Mull Otter Group, HWDT and THA. What we would like is to get as many of us together to run separate activities. Laing O Rouke are keen on the child involvement bit. Can I confirm that on behalf of the Playpark you wish to be involved and can come along and run some activity for that period? I am looking for something to keep the visitors entertained for a couple of hours and promoting the playpark a great opportunity to sell the activities you get up to and give folk a taster. So who is around that week that can help run a stall? Who can face paint? I can certainly cover the stall for a bit but cant face paint, hell, have you seen my makeup?! Any other ideas apart from face painting and tattoos? Is it too soon to do the ducks again?
