Idiopathic peripheral neuropathy seems to happen for no particular - TopicsExpress

Idiopathic peripheral neuropathy seems to happen for no particular reason. Doctors call this disorder idiopathic, which means of unknown cause. Typically, idiopathic peripheral neuropathy occurs in people over 60 years old; progresses slowly and it can be very disruptive to someones normal life and lifestyle. This is what my husband has and it is progressing. Seeing the 4th Dr. this coming Friday (a podiatrist) to see if we can find another means of pain relief for him. Right now the pain is pure agony and he is having trouble walking. It is also causing extreme exhaustion. Yes, he has been tested for diabetes and MS, and both are negative. I would also like to see why it has developed at his younger age rather than over 60. I have had to explain this a lot to so many people, I thought I would just post it on here to clarify. If anyone else has had same thing or know of someone with same thing, you can message me and perhaps offer other suggestions?
