Idiot NYC cops prove their heavy-handed methods dont work - In protest of what they perceive as a lack of support from Mayor Bill de Blasio, the sooper jeenyusses of the NYPD, spurred on by their unions, have staged a virtual work stoppage. Arrests are down by 66%, as are citations, including parking tickets and traffic tickets. The strategy behind this is to prove that were it not for cops, NYC would eat itself. Well, guess what? NYC isnt burning. There havent been any riots. Violent crime isnt up. The sky hasnt fallen. In fact, its been quieter than usual in the Big Apple. What the cops have proved is how completely unnecessary and even counter-productive their standard practices are. Well done, NYPD! It takes a special kind of stupid to prove exactly the opposite of what you were trying to prove. If youre wondering why theres such mass stupidity on the part of the NYPD, its because they reject smart candidates. After a court ruling in 2000, NYPD has only hired cops who arent smart. The average IQ is about 104. To give you an idea of what that means, the average IQ of registered voters in the US is 113.
