If Americans would figure out that the gov doesnt give a damn about the majority of us which is to say the poor and the middle class we might be able to make a change in politics! A majority of our elected gov are rich before they even go into office! And the ones that arent they are by the time they leave! They are there for two reasons! Money and power drive politics but they try to make you believe they work for you! They need us for the votes! I say we start a country wide boycott of elections and simply not vote! Whats the worse that could happen? The same people stay in office! It doesnt matter who gets voted in its all the same outcome! I know its our American and patriotic duty to vote but I am starting to think it would be more American and patriotic to stand and send a message and not vote!
