If Bill Cosby is guilty for these crimes, he deserves the maximum sentence. With that said, his crimes have zero bearing on his talent and work. The Cosby Show is a classic and should not be tied into these accusations. Sean Penn is still acting after being accused of rape, R Kelly is still touring, MJ is still selling music, Kelsey Grammer, Woody Allen, Rob Lowe, Bill Clinton, Kobe Bryant, Roman Polanski, Jerry Seinfeld, Elvis Presley, etc etc etc etc, the list can go on forever. My point is, the collaboration of work by many artist goes into the finish product, and for one person to be accused and all that work than subjected to the same destruction of character is simply ridiculous. But I have my theories on the timing of all of this. I will not put anyone on a pedestal, I can accept Mr Cosby as a rapist if accusations become known of fact, but why not 30, 20, 10 years ago? What was it that triggered the assassination of character for Bill Cosby. It seems as if the history books do not want Bill to have a legacy, the same with Dr Martin Luther King, and Michael Jackson. While others have stayed clear of character assassinations but under the same sort of situation, this media distraction is deliberate and timed.
