If Clairton scores 70 tonight they will have 300 points through 4 weeks. That is a 75 ppg average (which is actually lower than their average coming into tonight at 76.7). That has never been done in the WPIAL. That has never been done in the state. And I will have to look up if it has ever been done in the country. I would imagine it has somewhere...but it would have been a long time ago. The team from Aledo Texas that set the all time points record last season in the country at 1023 didnt score 300 through their first 4 games. If clairton goes to the state championship game and plays 16 games they are on pace for 1200 points. That is beyond ridiculous.
