If Hobbs and Angus believe they have fooled the people of this City with their sneaky, underhanded, attempt to prevent my ascendency to council, if certain circumstances were to occur, they are sadly mistaken. Most of us have seen through this charade and recognize it for exactly what it is: a deplorable exercise in slapping 10, 207 voters squarely in the face through an obvious scheme to prevent a voice of honesty, accountability and plain common sense from disrupting the status quo at City Hall. Like native leaders, if you disagree with Hobbs and Co., if you voice a contrary point of view, or if God forbid you criticize their futile inaction : they will get you - or attempt to. Angus was chosen to lead the charge because it is believed he is best insulated from voter backlash. For Angus to attempt to justify this STOP TAMARA MOVEMENT by citing democratic values and principles is disgustingly unconscionable because in fact this movement is the exact antithesis of democratic action. Angus indicates this reform has been in the works since 2006. If this is true one can only ask why it is suddenly galvanized in 2015 when Im involved and shows the total ineptness of this Mayor and council to accomplish any objective in less than a decade. The voters spoke - loud and clear - but now they will be once again silenced and ignored because of Hobbs, Angus and Co. cowardly inability to deal with any view but their own. m.tbnewswatch/view.aspx?cid=367198
