If Hon. Oyai Deng allegedly testified or the intelligence intercepted him talking to Hon. Taban Deng on December 14 evening, does that mean they were plotting a coup? The answer is Yes/No depending on what they talked about that evening. What I heard during one of Nyandeeng Chols interviews was that she said she was talking with Riek Machar about going to the second day of the NLC meeting but Riek said he would not go because other SPLM digruntled members said they would not go to the meeting because they were intimidated the day before. Nyandeeng said she told Riek to persuade others to go to the meeting because their absence will cause problems, but she would not attend herself because she was sick and she had taken permission from His Excellency Salva Kiir Mayardit, the President of the Republic of South Sudan and the chair of the SPLM ruling party. Each of the disgruntled members will have to specify what they talked about on that evening/night so we are waiting for more testimonies....
