If I could only have used Marty McFlys Delorean 8 years ago and transported my worried, anxious self to the future and read this email from one of Ryans teachers, it would have saved me a lot of sleepless nights. Rest assured I will fall asleep tonight with a smile on my face and a happy heart. So proud of my AWEsome boy. Hi Mrs. Hooven, Two great things happened at school this week, and I wanted to share them with you since Ryan may not mention anything without prompting. First, Ryan gave his presentation on French Guiana yesterday in class. Not only did he cover all of the important information, he also explained well throughout the presentation. He didnt get frustrated when the PowerPoint didnt do exactly what he wanted. Although he was a bit nervous, he spoke clearly and loudly. At the end of his presentation, his classmates all cheered and told him that he did a great job! Ryan earned a 100% on this project. Then today in class, we played a review game to prepare for the test on South America, which is tomorrow in class. (Ryan will take the test on Monday since he was absent for several days.) Ryans group was losing when it was their last turn. His group was about to give the wrong answer to the question when Ryan stopped them and told them the correct answer. Because Ryan knew the answer, his entire group won two bonus points that will be added to their test score. He was quite the hero, and again, everyone cheered for him :) Have a good night!
