If I ever become a multi-millionaire with a multi-million dollar house in the historic district of Downtown Charleston, and then begin to devote an increasing amount of my endless free time and energy to obsessively observe and publicly lament the numbers of visible bicyclists, tourists, and workers in my field of vision, eventually leveraging my power and perceived importance to pass an ordinance to thin out the eyesores, without bothering to consider the tangible effects of my selfishness on thousands of people who actually work for a living to keep my house historically accurate and structurally sound, who drive from miles around to put in a hard days work in hopes of some scraps from my table, who lead tourists around my neighborhood with a sense of pride in the beauty and history of my home. If that ever happens, print out this status for your defense attorney, because on that day, I hope youll take me behind my mansions carriage house and put me down like Old Yeller, so people will forget that I ever spent a moment behaving like such a repulsive asshole.
