If I ever moved back to Redding I would start a Star Wars Lightsaber / Fitness club, probably at Caldwell Park on that random flat piece of pavement next to the steps in what used to be the swimming area. Its but a dream I have. I have about 13-14 custom lightsabers in my possession (and is always growing) from Ultrasabers that I would be happy to share with attendees. The emphasis would be on light swordplay with a Star Wars focus. It would be a group that geeks and nerds from all backgrounds and outlets would be welcome. The group would culminate with a live choreographed performance once a year at a Relay For Life event or something similar, and there would be an emphasis on community and costuming at charitys. Actually, whenever I visit Redding in the summer I always go to the Sundial Bridge with my friend(s) and do a little duel. Ill make an announcement next time Im in town to see if anyone here would like to partake. Feel free to delete this if its promoting non-Redding companies or is not relevant to the group.
