If I ever wrote a book or made a movie about vampires, this is the idea vampire I would make. Original while taking and mixing old school and new age vampire traits. Hope everyone enjoys my idea and view of a new breed of vampires. :) -Immortality -Immune to sunlight, silver and holy water. -Super endurance rather than super strength. -Garlic is an allergy and when consumed it reveals the vampires true form. -Has a reflection. -Must drink at least 4 gallons of blood within a months time to keep powers and to stay concious. Otherwise the vampire goes into a vampiric coma, aka deep sleep. -Must eat normal food to keep body in tact or it will slowly deteriate without it. -Must have permission to enter a private residence. -Can run up to 30mph. -Extreme sense of smell and sight when other supernatural beings are close. (Werewolves, ghosts, conjured creatures, etc) -Definite death by piercing to the heart. -Removal of the head doesnt kill the vampire. Instead, every essence within the vampires being shuts down except the fast healing factor. The body reforms from the head slowly and can take between 2-3 weeks to fully reform. -The charm/mind control power only becomes active once the vampire kisses its victim. -At elder age, 500 years of age or older, may shadow jump, aka teleport between shadows as long as the entire body on concealed between point A and point B. -Skin tone is exactly like humans until the vampire as been a vampire for over 200 years and then the skin slowly turns pale every 25-75 years depending intake of blood and food diet the vampire is on. -Holy relics only effects vampires if the holder of the relic is a true believer and the relic itself is from the time the vampire become or born as one. (If a vampire is born or turned during Egyptian mythology time, a holy relic from that time must be used and be used by a true believer of it) -Female vampires may become pregnant but the baby drains the female body much more than that of a human body. But, the female vampire gives birth between 5-6 months rather than 8-9 months like the female human does. -Upon death, the body turns to ash. -When in ash form, if fresh blood is dropped onto the ashes the vampire is reborn and starts anew. Takes between 6-24 hours for the vampire to be reborn, depending how much blood is dropped onto the vampires ashes. If anyone actually reads this, I will be amazed.
