If....I had ONE wish answered by the Infinite Light, it would be to not only help the hundreds of animals that Greg and I help each year by administering medicine, transporting, running to kill shelters with only minutes to spare, finding good loving homes for, dealing with their myriad of emotional and physical problems that have been inflicted on them at the hands of humans, not to mention the continuous around the clock feeding and cleaning that is never ending..it would be to have enough money to help YOU, the many rescuers out there that struggle so hard daily to help soooo many of the animals we see staring at us through this Social Media miracle called Facebook. PLEASE, when you see a rescue that asks for help...please find just a little to help them in your wallets.These people tirelessly LIVE what others give finger service to by talking on facebook about their LOVE of animals..THESE are the people who give ALL that they have to so many animals each and every day. There is no "making money" on these animals. Most of us, have to work extra jobs, eat the cheapest foods, go without dental care, medical care, new clothes, all the latest gadgets like IPads, because...that is how many bags of cat, dog, small animal food. I do not measure money in the terms that you do..I measure it in terms of vaccinations, medications, food, L-lysine, soft beds and furry toys for injured babies. I dream of building beautiful rooms for my cats to play in, play yards with really neat jungle gyms for my dogs. I dream that NICE and LOVING people will come and adopt these animals that no one wanted and WANT THEM!! I dream...that all of YOU, will help ALL the rescues that do the REAL work of getting these animals out in multiples to safety and that you will SEE that you are surfing amongst many HEROES that struggle each and every day to save MANY animals..they do not come with a paycheck or a pocketbook. Just because they are SAFE, does not mean that their struggles do not continue. It only means that a rescue stepped up, and pulled them from that death sentence. Their struggles continue. Please..do not forget, or hesitate to help ANY rescue that asks. If they are not good, they will be dealt with at some point. But, most that I know are GOOD and DECENT people who struggle and work not only to survive themselves, but, to give to the animals all that they have!!!
