If I hear the phrase, Let nature take its course one more time - TopicsExpress

If I hear the phrase, Let nature take its course one more time this year, I will blow a fuse. We have had over 300 birds and animals in this year so far and can count on one hand the creatures that were injured due to Nature! Most creatures come to grief because of us humans - because of the roads we build, the hedges that we cut, the indiscriminate poison that we spread everywhere, the wires that give us electricity and phones, the floodlights that we leave on at night, the cats and dogs that we leave out into the wild, the turbines we put up, the land that we drain, the trees we cut down and of course the sheer cruelty that is in some people. Sorry to have a moan, but I am sick of it. Just in the last 2 days we have had in crows, rooks, a couple of sparrow hawks a Fulmar, a couple of Manx Shearwater chicks, a horribly injured cygnet and a kestrel, none of them were injured by mother nature!
