If I may! An interesting exercise was offered to me so as to allow the awareness to observe the interaction between the will and the mind! 1) choose any simple object such as a stone, a marble, a key, or a cork, then 2) decide where to place the simple object first thing each morning such as out in the shed on a shelf, or on a window sill, ----- anywhere but this must be done with diligence towards consistency. Then each evening (preferably last thing just before going to bed) place the same object in another place like in the basement, or in the garage, or inside to outside, or outside to inside! The real issue is set up a scenario where the will is in a competition with the mind and Awareness can observe this as a third party in this action! Be especially diligent in performing this most simple task each and every day, as if your own childs life depended on the successful and diligent completion of the simple task, each and every day. If you catch yourself forgetting and going off to work - turn around and be late for work because you forgot a most important thing to do that must be done (The will has chosen). ----- Then let the Awareness observe the mind suggesting to the will that this is not important, this is trivial and only a test anyway. This is a most simple exercise - but if done diligently and accuratley it gives Awareness an opportunity to observe the interaction between the mind and the will and many lessons will be learned when the observer does not interfere, or react! ------ I could go on, and on! But there is a method to this madness and the more diligent this is done, the more effective it is. The will should punish self for missing a single day (like no supper that evening) and this must be taken very serious, or not done at all, in order to get the most from this! ------ It works!!!!!!
