If I show up at shul (the synagogue) on this Yom Kippur Day, then - TopicsExpress

If I show up at shul (the synagogue) on this Yom Kippur Day, then later when my fellow Jews ask me what shul I went to for this most holiest of days, I can answer them with my head held high. On the other hand, that also means extending my fast by almost a full hour. So what should I do, go to shul, be held in some esteem by others, but eat almost an hour later, or stay home, where I feel so physically comfortable, and get to eat almost an hour earlier? Inquiring minds want to know.
