If I told you that there is a major difference between what Hollywood shows and what is actuality, what would you say? What if I told you that there is a movie coming out this Christmas that is similar but not actuality? What is this movie you ask? It is called Unbroken. Now what would lead me to tell you that there is a major difference between what Hollywood says vs actuality? Two major reasons why. First off, did you know there are two different accounts of the real story but one is from the person himself that lived through it? See, the movie Unbroken is based off a book published in 2010 by Laura Hillenbrand called Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption. This is what you would call a third person account of the story. However, the first person account tells a whole bigger picture. The first person account which was written by the man whom was at the front and center of the whole story. There is a book called Devil At My Heels (amazon/Devil-My-Heels-Olympians-Astonishing/dp/0062118854) which tells the story from the man himself: Louis Zamperini. Trust me... What Hollywood says vs what the reality is are two different realities. Now as for the second reason, I know indirectly the actual person the story is about. How do I know? My pastor and his wife. My pastor, Jerry Lancaster, is the son in law of Dr Eric Folsom. Dr Folsom is the one whom helped Louis with the start of his Japan Ministry. This is clearly outlined in Louis book. Also, I have further proof of this here: life.biblechurch.org/slifejom/process-audio-video/2622-lessons-from-prison-part-2-of-john-ortberg-teaching-on-the-book-unbroken.html (2/3 down the page). So I want to ask you again: What is real and what isnt? If I was you, I would read the REAL story and not what Hollywood tells you it is. Just thought I would let you know prior to the films release.
