If I train to capitalize on an enemies mistakes, and he makes - TopicsExpress

If I train to capitalize on an enemies mistakes, and he makes none, then I failed. If I train to capitalize on basic human weakness, I can beat both the fighter who makes mistakes, and the one who makes none. Every strike leaves something open, If I train to hit that than the enemy beats himself by striking. I also have to reposition while defending, or counter while defending to prevent my counter from being countered (he makes no mistake, but still loses). If I take the offensive then I must leave myself open so I distract him, and/or decieve to him to set up the attack, but thats not enough. I must rapidly change directions so that he re-adjusts himself into the setup, then the setup must be strong enough to knock him off balance, then the setup has to have enough follow-ups to catch whatevers open (he didnt make a mistake, but he still lost). Theres more to it than this, but my nutshells getting to big. And as hard as it is to verbalize, its harder to do. #ramblingsofamanobsessed.
