If I was born in an earlier time, it would have been in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, New York on May 5th 1917 . I would have started playing Saxophone, being taught by my Father and at 16 drop out of highchool. From 1933 until 1941 I would have supported myself by playing saxophone in various clubs around the country and study part time in a yehiva in British Palestine every alternation summer or winter. In 1939 my record breakthough jazz standard record would have come with the Patric Davidson band with Alexandrea Freckles as the singer, and Deven Campbell as an electric guitar pioneer. I would have a string of failed women because I was too shy and jealous. In 1942 I would be drafted into the Amry and in the battlefields of europe and come back and be put in a mental hospital. Upon release Patric takes me back. In 1946 I marry a British woman of Sephardic origin who lived in Tel Aviv. I become Orthdox again in and in 1947 we realease another groundbreaking record. In 1949 on CBS we perform on Aurthur Godfrey one of the most watchted television events of the century, preserved later in the Library of Congress. Aurthur didnt like The fact I had a large but nicely groomed beard and a kippah. I am friends with all the great Jazz stars and in a famous incident, defend my good friend Louis Armstrong being discriminated against. In 1967 we break up due to retirement. Perform on occasion and have reunions at the Montreal jazz Festival to rave acclaim. On July 23rd 1994, I die at age 77 from Lung Cancer at my home in Jerusalem. Leaving behind a legacy. Hope you enjoyed that little tidbit.
