If Jake Gyllenhaal doesnt win an Oscar for Nightcrawler theres something wrong! Now Im not talking about why Tom Cruise or Leonardo Dicaprio have never won an Oscar kinda wrong. Because when you watch Gyllenhaal in this its as plain as the nose on your face why theyve never won; theyre just not that good. In all honesty its one of the best performances by an actor Iv ever seen! He moves effortlessly between awkward & shy, to charming & articulate in the same scene. He plays the role so well hes genuinely eerie and unnerving in it. Its a really good film too. In short, watch it.
