If Liverpool are serious in winning the title, they should bring world class players into the squad. Break the bank and get the players. Last time the owners and management gave excuses that top players did not want to come to Liverpool because we were not in the champions league. Now that we are in the champions league ? Who did we buy ? Rickie Lambert, Balotelli , lovren and a few other unknown. It makes you wonder how serious this club is and how honest they have been with the fans. The management under American ownership is obviously taking everyone for a ride. John Henry promised great success for this club when he bought the club nearly 5 years ago. What has he brought to the club ? Plenty of empty promises. The fans should start waking up and save this club falling into mediocrity under the hands of Fenway sports and Brendan Rodgers. If they are serious in staying in the champions league and building a world class team , they have an immediate task that the fans all over the world should push for. Get 4 world class players to join Liverpool whatever it takes. These players are Higuan, Benzema, Rues and Khedira. We should stop buying players on the cheap or players who have no proven success at the highest level of football. Its time this club transformed itself into a world class club and not pretend to be one. -MA
