If Minaj does go back, its strictly a business decision. For all our declarations of black pride, her audience probably prefers the fake look. Lets face it. Real afrocentrist types were never going to buy her CDs anyway. So she can please them or please her audience? If anything, I think Nickis brief change was to show us that shes not an idiot. I think the hoopla over Malcolm X, shook her a bit. She wanted real people to know that shes frontin to make money. This is her hustle. Regardless of how it looks, she wanted us to know that her self esteem is intact. Perhaps this is why KRS-One came to her defense earlier in the year. Now the flip side of this is many people use the fake Nicki for marketing purposes too. They wont acknowledge that shes putting on an act because its not good for their business.
