If NotA (None of the Above) were always a choice on the ballot, - TopicsExpress

If NotA (None of the Above) were always a choice on the ballot, thus allowing a voter to be counted as dissatisfied with the current offerings, do you think there would be a larger turnout in elections? While it wouldnt change the outcome of an election, do you think a candidate could claim a landslide victory by getting 50% of 38% of the vote (19%) for actual candidate if NotA got 30% all votes? Do you think both parties would try for those NotA votes next time by refining or expanding their message? Would knowing about all the votes left on the table (rather than just a lack of participation) would invigorate multiple parties to join in the fray? And, finally, would making it to the polls to vote NotA result in a higher turnout for other, more local, offices and questions?
