If Scotland becomes independent, there will be a Scottish general - TopicsExpress

If Scotland becomes independent, there will be a Scottish general Election in May of 2016 .... Scotland might then vote for a liberal minded party, a coalition, or even a Green party, it all depends what is in the partys manifesto that grabs your fancy, you might even be able to vote for a real Labour Party. The party that get the most seats will, most likely, form a government. That is when the manifesto (that the Scottish people voted for) will be implemented, including budgets for welfare, transport, health etc etc, it will be a budget that is absolutely tailored to the needs of Scotland, not as the case is at present. As we all know, the price of oil will most definitely fluctuate up and of course, down, but, that is the same for every oil producing country, luckily, Scotland is in a much better situation than most oil producers, we also have whisky, fishing (black / white / shell), tourism, food industry, engineering, financial sector et al. Now, at present, Westminster is borrowing 379 million £s every day .... yes, every day, they also have to pay 1 billion £s every week .... yes, every week, on interest payments for the debt, which of course, is still rising out of control. There is absolutely no guarantees on independence (exactly the same as Westminster regarding Ukip, another tory government and being pulled out of the EU and more wars.), but, it offers a lot more hope for all of us and our children. I have a customer who has 40 workers employed in his business, if corporation tax drops to 23%, which has been mooted as a measure in a new Independent Scotland, he assures me he will employ another 10 worker immediately, that in turn will make him more money, so he will pay more in tax to the Scottish treasury , there will be 10 workers off unemployment benefit, and they will be then paying income tax to the Scottish Treasury, but much more importantly, will hold their heads that wee bit higher ... a feel good factor must not be under estimated when running a country. Without doubt, Scotland has much more to fear from Westminster than that of Independence.
