If Warwick has a council rule to prohibit discussing a matter on and on and on ad infinitum, why dont they attempt to revise the rule to make it a requirement that committee business be taken care of in committee and come out of committee with a vote. Then when it gets to the floor no conversation and a simple up or down vote. Why were committes formed anyway? In prior years councilmembers did their homework prior to a meeting by hearing and discussing the issues at hand with the director by using the auditor to collect the relevent information and the councilperson could perform prior more efficiently.
