If White Guilt may be one, or all of your motivating factors with supporting Common Core, this article is your proverbial vaccination against that wretched, and media/politically conceived disease. On the flip side, if you are a well meaning, White Republican who supports Common Core, in full or part, because of your belief that such is a benefit to the Black community, this article hopefully will shed you from that media/politically produced myth. There is not ONE shred of independent research or data that suggests that Common Core is a viable educational solution for African American children. This, from a proud Black father, and a well informed professional. Have a happy Martin Luther King Day this Monday Utah.
