If a U.S. president fails to secure the border and a terrorist brings death and destruction across that border he has violated the constitution and failed the people who elected him and this is an impeachable offense. June 18, 2010, Arizona Republican Senator Jon Kyl explaining a conversation he had with President Obama. Obama told him The problem is, . . . if we secure the border, then you all won’t have any reason to support ‘comprehensive immigration reform. In other words, they’re holding it hostage. They don’t want to secure the border unless and until it is combined with ‘comprehensive immigration reform.’” Jeopardizing the lives of Americans for political gain is treasonous and immoral. Sen. Kyl also reminded President Obama that the President and the Congress has an obligation, a duty, to secure the border.
