If a hymn doesnt possess some sound theology than it is nothing but emotionalism. It is no more than a manipulation through a communal cathartic experience. This video appears to indicate such manipulation. The highly repetitive song combined with synchronized dancing and hand gestures creates a highly immersive and emotional experience that is unconstrained by any sort of substantive theology........not to mention ripping the scripture out of historical context and into an American Imperialist military context....kind of sickening to think of this as worship.
