If a major sinner (Muslim) dies, we can ask God to forgive this Muslim, but we have to believe that part of the sinners, major sinners who died before repentance, part of them will be in Hell. They will spend time in Hell. Any Muslim whose the good deeds outweight the bad deeds when they will be weigh in the balance, if the good deeds are heavier than the bad deeds, this person, this Muslim will not enter Hell. People (Muslims) whose the bad deeds are heavier than the good deeds, they deserve the punishment in Hell. Part of them will be in Hell [before entering in Paradise]. When we say that the bad deeds are more than the good deeds, it means he is a Muslim, because blasphemers will have NO GOOD DEEDS in the balance, its empty, the side where the good deeds will settled, the side of the good deeds for the blasphemers there is no good deeds, he will be directly to Hell [forever]. The CORRECT BELIEF is a PRE-CONDITION for the deeds to be accepted, without the correct belief the deeds will not be accepted. They will be as Allaah said in Sùrat Ibraaheem, Verse 18 about the deeds of the blasphemers, which means : “Like the fine ashes which will be blown up in the air and disappear by the heavy wind.” (Nothing remained) IMPORTANT : We do NOT ask Allaah to forgive someone who died as blasphemer. Asking Allaah to forgive a blasphemer, is blasphemy.
