If he doesnt, there isnt any life in the parish. If he takes time in the confessional to help and advise sinners, he takes too long. If he doesnt, he doesnt care. If he celebrates liturgy in a quiet voice, hes boring. If he puts feeling into it, hes an actor. If he starts Mass on time, his watch is fast. If he starts late, hes holding up the people. If he tries to lead the people in music, hes showing off. If he doesnt, he doesnt care what the Mass is like. If he decorates the church, hes wasting money. If he doesnt, hes letting it run down. If hes young, hes not experienced. If hes old, he ought to retire. But if he dies, There was nobody like him and there will never be his equal again…and THERE MAY BE NO ONE TO REPLACE HIM.
