Carers UK has been asked to submit evidence to the House of Lord’s Select Committee on the Mental Capacity Act 2005, particularly on how carers have experienced it – i.e. whether it has improved things for carers and the people they care for, or what difficulties have arisen. The MCA (Mental Capacity Act 2005) applies in England and Wales.
