Today I want to share a testimony that I think is the most significant thing that Ive ever shared on here. My good friends (and cyberspace experts) Marcus Sebastian Payne and his beautiful wife, Kimberly, have been going through a major trial that I didnt even know about. They were truly baptized in the fire. During that time I never heard one word of complaint, one word of doubt, and never ever saw a sour spirit. In fact, Marcus has blessed me many times over over the last few years. The Test and the Testimony (Original Post by Kimberly Payne) In 2009 Marcus and I lost our jobs, after sitting and looking at our finances and decreased income we made a decision to keep Alexis in school at Covenant Christian. We couldn’t afford our mortgage at that time and we ultimately lost the home to foreclosure in late 2009. We had to move to a tiny apartment in Austell and our lives were miserable. We were under an intense amount of pressure and it was a very tough situation. After a few months we began to look for another place to live, we looked and looked and we couldn’t find anything suitable for our family. After some time had passed we went back to the complex we lived in before we bought our house we had just lost. We spoke with the leasing managers and they told us because we had been such good tenants they would look out for something for us. We got a call in January 2010 letting us know that they had a town home available in the 200 building. We were actually ecstatic, we previously lived in the 200 building but we were told our old unit was being held for another family but a different unit next door was actually available. We received another call the next week and the very same unit we lived in before was available and we could move in immediately. We were very excited and happy and in March we moved in. We had always prayed for God to restore all that had been taken away in our lives. We had experienced so much loss and heartache and heartbreak, but we held on to this word……. I stored up the word of restoration in my heart and I did meditate on that word day and night; and Marcus stored up the word of justice in his heart, and the days, the months and the years passed. God is so good; He is so true to His word…… He will do what He says He will do, today God restored us, He gave us justice and we closed on a beautiful home. We are so thankful and we are filled with joy because it is a home better than we could ask or think. His word is true and all you have to do is believe. I could go on about what we did and our prayer time but I know because I know about grace we didn’t do anything but believe, we trusted in God and His word and His grace was sufficient. It is because of His Grace, His goodness that I have opened up about what we went through and how He brought us out. We are blessed and thankful and gladly share this testimony of God’s goodness.
