If any of you have seen Alexia and the groove mechants you know Alexia is a-zill-mazing She will be teaching 3 classes to get your groove on ALEXIA (KIM LEARY) FINGER CYMBALS....THE DANCERS INSTRUMENT WITH ALEXIA – THE TOOL BOX Learn the essential strokes for building solid and interesting patterns to accompany and enhance your belly dance musically. Learn a series of finger cymbal and foot patterns to develop coordination, strength and stamina in your playing. Tips for continuing your own personal training to build your musical chops will be discussed. Please bring your own double slotted finger cymbals, size B or larger is recommended. Some dance experience is recommended for this class. 1. ZILL SKILLS & COMBOS This workshop starts with finger cymbal power-up exercises to build your musicianship as a dancer. We’ll dance TWELVE different dance combos to put all that rhythmic goodness into action.
