If anybody wants to help me, I will be at Seabury tomorrow on the lawn trying to educate the people. My main focus is going to be on Golden Rice. I believe that anti-GMO activists are good people at heart. Lauryn Rego demonstrated this last night when she was helping me with my kids. We definitely have common ground on this issue, and I think we can persuade many people to accept the potential benefits of GE technology on humanitarian grounds. We need to open up a dialogue on the issue rather than fighting. If anyone out there feels like they can help me, even some anti-GMO people who just care about the children, please do. Shiva is an extremist and a lot of anti-GMO people are not like her. They simply believe they are doing the right thing, and they are not getting paid $40,000 per speech to say ALL GMOs are bad.
