If anyone can get my Earth Day Grumpy settled down, its my daughter. Here infectious 10 yr. old enthusiasm is impossible to avoid. So, she has been assigned some poetry writing for her home school studies, and here are todays offering. First a Haiku: Earth Day is awesome. Planting trees is so much fun. Earth day each day please. Acrostic: Environmental action. Air quality. Racing to pick up trash. The Earth needs you. Healing the planet. Deeds to clean up the place. Actions speak. Yearly helping is not enough.
