If anyone dies in the Mountains I want the Blue Mountains City Council and its Fire Officer to be charged with murder as it was him who prevented me and other owners with the help of the RFS to burn off in winter and then further prevented mechanical means to be used to clear fuel left on the ground to be removed contrary and with knowledge of the danger communicated by the RFS. Since the 1970 I have engaged the RFS to clear the fuel on my land by burning off in winter up to about 1998 when Council stepped in and prevented this practice its Fire Officer claiming he had better knowledge than the RFS and deliberately prevented clearance of the fuel on the ground using the excuse that the environment would suffer and climate change would intensify in order to bolster the views of the Labour Party of which he was am member. Quite frankly I would be more afraid of an asteroid hitting the earth than the nonsense espoused by the Labour Party on climate change and theyn attempt to justify their stance on the basis of these fires. We have enough evidence from the Canberra and Ash Wednesday fires to know that the Labour Parts stance is sheer bullshit and nothing else
