Preparations have begun by Verizon to erect a cell phone tower behind the shopping center at 1944 Walton Way. Cement has already been poured and an auger has begun drilling. There has been no zoning change to allow this. It is zoned residential. The Boardman family owns the property. When Planning and Zoning was contacted, I was told that Bob Austin could not remember the details about this piece of property. He quickly called back and said that he had found the records in a pile on his desk, and that zoning had never been changed to allow the construction.....MORE OF THE SAME......
