If anyone is wondering what to get me this Christmas season, the answer is easy-the same thing iv been trying to get for the last 18 years!! The Greatest American Hero convertible bug with Ralph and Bill action figures made my Mego. This is technically the last toy Mego (Somewhat) produced back in 1982 before filing bankruptcy and closing their doors forever that same year. Rumor has it, this toy set was only officially on store shelves for the matter of a few months before they were yanked due to the bankruptcy. Back in 1998, I was lucky enough to get my hands on the Bill Maxwell (Robert Culp) figure and even part of the original box, but every time iv seen this set come up for auction on ebay (which is less than 25 times since 2003), the auctions end up going up to $3,000 or more and theres no way im paying that much for ANY toy!! So anyways, if anyones wondering with all I have in my collection, what would be the one thing id want that I dont already have, this is it!!
