If anyone thinks this show will be going or is getting stale, plotwise, hasnt seen this episode. First, while Southern cities have Renaissance Fairs[Im from E Tennessee-they literally abound], they arent usually put on by a town-let alone a small one. I mean if there was lots of beer, four-wheeling, a monster truck rally, and heaps of barbecue=maybe, but that would create some thematic issues-ya think? Second, its great to see Jamie King[Lemon] back in action, while Rachel Bilson is a fine lead and a capable comedienne in her own right, Lemon has been conspicuous in her absence. As despicable as she took the character in the early shows, her comedic talents have blossomed since her return, as well as come across much more endearing as the recent episodes unwind. Then theres the synergy of Wade, George and Lavon back in play. Wilson Bethel[Wade] has gotten into serious love...how serious? Hes had to endure the tactics of a too-smart-for-Wades-own-good adolescent offspring of same girlfriend, whos also a member of the newly united Hart clan, so its as serious as it gets, but without shedding the natural nose for mischief that comes with being Wade...hence the goat stealing that bonds him, girlfriend and son in the kind of love only a family that steals together can understand.[Its a Southern thang-yall dont HAVE to understand. Clue: It explains a lot about Tennessee politics.] THEN, theres the Chicken Bros who are Alabamas answer to Larry Curly and Moe-except theres no smart one. And now, thanks to Zoes Mother[who keeps complicating her life it appears]Joes about to be sucked out of the picture, dropping her back into the angst-go-round with newly detached Lavon and George-with Annabeth spinning about in orbit around the whole melee. Are we having fun yet?
