If by spending $89 US you could save the life of your child or grandchild, your niece or nephew, would you? Strange question? I have recently become very actively involved in DNA maping - the process by which DNA test results are crossreferenced with family history information in order to map where every section of ones DNA came from. The results have the potential to save lives in the future. How? Well, lets say --God forbid -- that in the future I develope prostate cancer. I know that the gene responsible occurs at a certain point on a certain chromosome. Having mapped my own DNA and that of my parents, I would be in a position to tell my male first cousins which of them has the gene (provided of course that they have been tested). As it happens, I am somewhat uniquely positioned to benefit a huge number of people because of the fact that I have data on 117,000 of my closest relatives and because I have had most of my immediate family members do a test. SO COUSINS, get tested!!! By the way the test kits are now on sale for $89 US (they were $299 at one point). Message me for details.
