If democracy is about inclusiveness, those who today criticise excluding the Muslim Brotherhood from the political arena, must also severly criticise the hegemonic attitude of the Brotherhood in Egypt. If democracy is about popular will, than popular will must be respected, either expressed in ballot boxes or in the streets. If democracy is about respect of minority rights, then the winner of the elections should not have disregarded its opponents, or even worst, those who helped him win these elections, and believe he had a full mandate to do whatever he believes right.
