If drenching myself with ice water brings more awareness and maybe even a cure to a disease that is very dear to my heart...I would stand under an ice waterfall!! I was nominated by my besties Angela and Toby to do the ALS ice bucket challenge and I take on this challenge with my whole being. I nominate my brother George my sister Teresa and my soul sister Hersha . You all have 24 hours to do this challenge and or (can do both:) donate US$100 towards ALS awareness organizations. Please support the people that are suffering from ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) and their caregivers. Locally we have the Hong Kong Neuro Muscular Society that supports people that have ALS and other degenerative neuro muscular diseases. They have a special place in my heart as they have been with my family as supporters and counsellors through my moms 10 year battle with ALS. I love you mom and I know you were laughing from above as you watched me do this...missing you always.
