If elected I support the Inmate Work Program 100%, and know what I can do with the work crew to help Harlan County. I ran for Jailer in 2010 and just lost by around 200 votes. I won 3 Districts in Harlan County. I was working with the Administrative Office of The Courts for the Harlan County Drug Court Program. I served as Commonwealth Detective, and after the election special programs coordinator and Commonwealth Detective. The current administration would not send workers to any area that I had received more votes, but I had about 12 men that wasnt working in the Harlan County Drug Court. There were a lot of grave yards not getting cut in our County and I was going to do anything I could to help. We used my truck as the Community service truck and we pulled a trailer with about 8 weed eaters, chain saw , and many other tools. We cut any graveyard that folks called us about, and I was proud to help. This also kept the Drug Court Participant busy working. We cleaned many graveyards, did the first ever river cleanup, cleaned the cranks lake of garbage and cut a lot of weeds and trees at the lake. Cleared out county roadways after storms, cleaned county roadways of garbage. We really done a lot of work and I really believe it was great for the county and the participant. I will have a crew of 50 or more if elected your Jailer, I cant wait to show you what we can do with a workforce of that size for everyone in the County I will not leave anyone out. There will also be a van that is used for graveyards only. There should not be one grave yard in this county with weeds waist high, fallen trees or anything on them. We will keep them ALL cleaned. I am going to post a few pictures of the Community Service program when I served as Program Coordinator. Please if you have any questions feel free to ask or even call me of you wish 606-273-3567
